This is something really important especially if you’re like me and work a lot and never have time to go to the store. I have learned that I eat A LOT of rice and beans, which isn’t bad, but the good thing about me is I don’t get sick of eating the same thing for a couple days straight. Below I am going to include a list of some things I always have in the house.
- White Rice (I know its not the healthiest but this is my weak spot)
- Goya Black Bean Soup
- Lemons
- Peppers
- Onions
- Garlic
- Nutritional Yeast
- Avocados
- Chickpeas
- Cauliflower
- Bananas (frozen and not)
- Orgain Vanilla Protein Powder (optional brand)
- Plain Rolled Oats
- Hemp Seeds
- Avocado oil (I don’t use any other kind)
- Tahini
- Cooking White Wine (I know weird but this is what I add to peppers to sauté them along with avocado oil and they taste amazing.)
- Vegan butter
- Chili Lime Seasoning (Trader Joe’s)
- Cashews
- Plant Based milk (I like coconut and almond)
- Tofu
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Veggie Broth
- Chia Seeds
These are some key items to always have in the house because for breakfast I eat the same thing usually everyday which is either oatmeal or a protein smoothie (both recipes in the breakfast tab).
For lunch and dinner if I’m legit a broke bih I eat black beans and rice with sautéed peppers and onions and vegan butter to make it creamy (posted in the “lunch tab”). And to go along with this my friend gave me a really good hummus recipe with fried cauliflower so credits to @k8me9 for that, which I will include the recipe for that in the “snacks” tab.
